By accessing and using North Jersey Today, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Use of Service

North Jersey Today provides:

• Free personalized newsletters for subscribers
• Local news, events, and lunch specials
• Community polls and contests
• Paid services for businesses including lunch specials plans, email sponsorships, and featured events

User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Content Submission

When you submit content (events, news, polls, etc.), you grant us:

• The right to use, modify, and distribute your content
• The right to approve or reject submissions at our discretion

You represent that you own or have rights to any content you submit.

Business Services

For paid business services:

• All fees are stated clearly before purchase
• Lunch specials plan: $1 first month, then $50/month, cancel anytime
• Email sponsorships: $20/week per county, refundable up to 48 hours before start date
• Featured events: $20 one-time fee, no refunds once published
• Payment processing handled securely through Stripe

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to manipulate polls or voting systems
• Spam or harass other users
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access our systems unauthorized

Intellectual Property

All content on North Jersey Today, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or our licensors' property and protected by copyright laws.

Disclaimers

North Jersey Today is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of content submitted by users or businesses
• Specific results from using our service

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Email Communications

By subscribing, you agree to receive:

• Newsletters based on your preferences (lunch specials and/or nightly news)
• Important service updates

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or through your account settings.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
